good day everyone,
after alot of advices, this is my planned system, wonder if i can do any adjustments that wouldn't make much of a difference to the performance, to make it below 1k. Purpose of system for work(little media related), cs:go and sc2 only.

Processor: i5-4460
Mainboard: Asrock h81m hds both for $331

Memory: G.Skill RipJaws-X 1600MHZ (4GB x 2pcs) CL9 $115

Storage: Samsung evo 850 250gb ssd $219

Casing:Cm haf 912 adv usb 3.0 case $139

Graphics Card:MSI GTX750 Gaming 2GB DDR5
PSU:Thermaltake SE 530W 80+ PSU both for $269

OS:win 7 home prem 64bit $130

Total(prices taken from pcthemes): $1203

enquires:
1) is getting a ssd enuff, or is it better to still get a hdd as well? for my previous system, i only use below 200gb of data space..

all advices are well appreciated!

i have heard that i5 and i7 performance are quite close, but i3 is quite far off i5, is it true?

If you are only using them for watching video, play gaming and surfing net , the performance diff is not really noticeable.

updated my post, hoping for more advices.

[Mobo&Proc] Asrock H81M-HDS R2.0 /w i5-4460 $333.00
[GPU] Sapphire R9-280 Dual-X 3072MB $269.00
[RAM] G.Skill DDR3 1600Mhz CL11 (8GB*1) $97.00
[SSD] Crucial MX100 256GB $159.00
[PSU] Superflower Golden Green HX 600W Gold Modular 80+ $109.00
[Case] Coolermaster Silencio 352 $74.00

[OS] Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit $130.00

Total :- $1,171.00

This build is much more balanced

Can go check out Silencio 352, it quite a neat case !
Same internal design as N200 but with Front Filter, noise canceling form & SD card reader

Samsung 850 Evo is too overkill, MX100 is gd enough

Buy and Assemble @ PC Themes
