Are they good investments? What are the possible pitfalls and what would you advice i buy?
Reits in SG tend to give out btw 5-7% yield. Recent focus on debt / gearing ratio of these reits. Though at around 30% it is comparable to the west, and better than hong kong.
Plans for SG to become a Reit hub, so you'll start seeing more Reits listing in SG, providing greater exposure to foreign country Reits.
Even amongst Reits, they can focus on different types of tenants. E.g., PLife reit / maple tree log.
IMO:
Key risk: interest rates
Secondary risk: over supply
