Hi, is it ok if I just use a lint free 3m microfiber cloth to remove my pre-applied thermal paste on my H100i? Just bought a new MX-4 thermal paste.

I don't have any Isopropyl alcohol, just nail polish remover & heard a lot from forums that it's not recommended to remove thermal paste.

Thanks all, I'm just worried that any wrong chemicals & there goes my cpu :/

I'll just use a bit of nail polish so the remnants won't spread to my mb.

It's really not recommended to remove the pre-applied thermal paste from the H100i (or H100i GTX). Tested and tried. Pre-applied thermal paste strangely results in lower temps than Arctic MX4. I had to apply Arctic MX4 coz shifted my H100i GTX cooler to new CPU chip and motherboard, else I wouldn't have touched the CPU cooler installation at all.
