Need Advice - Portable CCTV Camera

Hello,

im looking at this model of CCTV camera: DCS-8000LH. I intend to use it while traveling, like set it up in different hotel rooms whilst overseas.

So im just wondering, if any experts can advice, can this camera be so "portable" in a sense that i just require WIFI to set up and log in? Or do i need access to the hotel's router for that?

If so, can recommend any portable CCTV camera that suits my purpose?

Man, while you are overseas for leisure or work, just enjoy yourself. Why get so paranoid about security to require a CCTV wherever you go?

This DCS-8000LH is indeed a wifi camera with DLink mobile (app) video, which i am using it.

Set up is simple using mobile phone with mydlink app using bluetooth.
Once it connect to wifi signal SSID and ready to use on monitoring via mobile with internet access.
However it need to connect to power supply source.

If it's wireless, then you can probably use it as a portable cam. Although I agree with Ken slightly, haha. Been craving for vacations, haven't had one even during the last holidays.
