Need advice set up my first gaming PC

Hi,I'm not sure what pc components/parts to get for me to play high end games in 4k and vr ready.my budget maybe below $2k if it is possible . do I need to get the latest graphics card? Gtx1080, 1070 or rx480? Just to play high end gaming with 4k resolution? I thought of getting corsair carbide 400c or obsidian series 450d for my pc.Any advise will much appreciated.

wow thanks for the recommendation,is it a must to have a overclocked processor and GPU for a better gaming experience.or is it optional? A friend of mine recommended me AMD RX480 XFIRE. is it comparable in performance to GTX 1080 or 1070?

well that really depends on which games u are playing, but den again not all game are really that good with the hard optimization. some require more on gpu and some cpu or both balance. and i would still say its optional to have a OC chip and mobo.

As for CF RX 480 is ok, but u need a good case for cooling both that GPU. but i would say CF RX 480 is near GTX 1070 or some where in between GTX 1070 and 1080.
