this looks perfect for Overwatch, it will also use all 6 cores of your 1600. Remember to not settle for a lower speed ram. Overwatch seems to like 3200 mhz rams . And to be honest, if you decide to play it seriously, youll be playing on low settings to get as much fps as you can and reduce distractions

with GTX 1070, there is no need for him to play on low settings
average 100 fps and above for 1080p and 1440p
unless he playing on 4K.

Hence i mentioned, if he wishes to play it seriously then play it at low. Overwatch has input latency tied to its fps. Nobody trying to reach the high tiers should intentionally handicap themselves by playing at only 100 fps.

How much fps difference for lower speed RAM vs 3200MHz..?

not sure of exact figures, but before i could overclock my ram , my fps was generally around 150-190 @2133. Now that the new BIOS are released, i managed to overclock to 3200 and the fps range is 270-300 with occasional dips to 250. Googling overwatch and ram speeds will actually give you a lot of results if you have doubts .

sorry to hijack your thread, didnt wanted to create a new thread so..

i am looking to build a pc using ryzen. however i am not sure of the others parts i should get since i have no knowledge on pc build prior this.. currently using razer blade.. anybody can suggest me a build? budget probably around 1.3-1.5.. must look nice thou

How much u getting your EVGA G3 for?

It came in a bundle. Boss was nice enough to upgrade it to 650W though.

Pretty good price. Not the best, but definitely not bad. Given it have aesthetic as well, and a very capable machine.
