Under MOE education advancement, Sec 4 (NT) is not allow to move on to Sec 4 (Express) or Sec 5 (NA) for GCE O. So you can only take GCE O as private candidate.
I was from NT & took optional GCE O modules in ITE when I was in Nitec Programme. I can tell you that MOE do not train NT GCE N graduate to take GCE O exams which is the reason why most fail their exams when they become private candidates or in ITE. At that point of them, I estimated that I needs 4 years if I want to prepare myself for GCE O since we are not trained by MOE as Nt student (Standard is too huge between GCE O & NT GCE N especially English).
Base on WISE Programmes (equivalent to NA education) in ITE under MOE direction, NT GCE N graduate only have the competency as Sec 2 NA student. NT GCE N graduate only allow to enter WISE Module 3 Programmes (equivalent to Sec 3 NA education).
Short Introduction to SPM (equivalent to GCE O) in Malaysia. After primary school, Malaysians will go Secondary school. In Secondary school, it is a 5 years course & they only have one stream (equivalent to NA in Singapore). When they reach Sec 3, they go for PBSMR (equivalent to GCE N) & when they reach Sec 5, they go for SPM.
Now you know how Singapore MOE shortchange NT student in term of skill & knowledge, I advice you to go for your Nitec rather then taking GCE O. Or you can go take SPM in Malaysia since Singapore MOE recognize SPM for Polytechnic Diploma & JC GCE A courses.

Please advice me on the subject combinations for o-level and is it possible to appeal to take o-level in moe school.
