Need advices after post-N results

I'm in a dilemma now and I need people's advice really badly now. I have gotten my n-levels results yesterday : English:4 maths:1 amaths:1 chum(SS,hist):1 Chinese:2 science(physchem):1 . Because I got a grade 4 for English, I couldn't make it for pfp(1 year of poly foundation programme then 3 years normal one) and my teacher suggested me to go to dpp (2 years of higher nitec and if gotten a required GPA, I can get into either year1/2 poly which depends on the course). But I checked out on the courses yesterday and those courses which interest me a little are all very far away from my house (about 1h or more travel time) and will only secure a place in polys which r quite far away from my house too. The courses dpp offers are very limited and I don't rlly show any interest in those courses. But I'm very afraid that I won't do well in sec5 especially for English, Chinese and chum, knowing that I'm pretty weak in those subjects and the gap between o-lvl and n-lvl is huge. So may I know your opinion on where to go? I'm submitting my dpp application by Tmr night and I hope that I will get advices from all of you. Thank you!
