Need some advise,

Palit GTX1060 3GB (Bought in Dec 2017)
Corsair Vengance LPX 2933mhz 2x8GB
Coolermaster MWE Gold 550W
Adata XPG SX8200 Pro 250GB
Toshiba P300 1TB
I unplugged the HDMI cables to connect to my laptop to do some work. When I plugged back the HDMI cables to the graphic card HDMI port and turn on the PC, the monitor is not showing any display. CPU fan, case fan and my flashy RGB keyboard and mouse is running when the PC is turned on, just no display.
When I tried to unplug and plug back again, I notice that there are sparks when the HDMI connector touches with the graphic card's HDMI port.
I plug the HDMI port to my laptop to double check and the monitor is working fine.
I tried to use my brother's monitor and connect to my PC, same, no display and there are sparks when HDMI connector comes in contact with the graphic card's HDMI port. Double check brother's monitor using my laptop and it work fine.
Also swapped a new working HDMI cable and same, no display, sparks happen.
I took out the graphic card, cleaned the HDMI port using contact cleaner, plug back in, still same thing.
My ultimate fear is that my graphic card kaput already, nearly 3.5 years old man.
Would like to hear your input.

Turn off the main power for monitor and pc, unplugged the HDMI connector yesterday before going to sleep.
Tried my luck again today morning. Connect the HDMI connector to PC, turn on the main power for monitor and PC, turn on the power button. Miracously, everything was back to normal.
Checking if it was an intermittent fault, i turn off the PC, turn off the main power for monitor and PC. Waited for 5 minutes. Turn back on everything and the PC is still running normally.
Really puzzled by yesterday's problem.
