Need advise (lending personal loan)

Hi all , please pardon me if I post in the wrong thread . Recently I came to know that my mum frenz a guy & a women borrowed $2850 from my mum . Is those bit by bit . They never return on all the promise dates . My mum din wanna let me know until I think she is now scare they are not gg to return . The guy photocopy his Ic & wrote borrowed $2850 with his signature on it (but mayb fake) . My mum trusted them and now they like that . They dun pick up calls & return SMS . Anyone got any ideas ? I thought of gg to debt collector , I was telling my mum , even I let those debt collector take comm I oso wanna them to return her the money . My mum is not working and rely on my monthly allowance to her , all these are her saving . The guy is working and the women is staying at landed , wearing good all over her body . Recently they even ask my mum to go to the bank n ATM $1000 for her . Lucky my mum ATM is with me ...

Hey, do you have evidence to proof the claim.. Do go to police and figure out a solution but be mentally prepared that these conmen won't return. Take it as an expensive lesson.

ya,my mum showed me that the guy photocopy his ic and he wrote borrowed $2350 on the paper and he signed on it ...i dunno is it enough .

ya i know ... my mum feeling the pain now ,she trusted them and they treat her like that ... think they see her blur blur ... that's what made me more angry . cos my mum is those seldom spend money kind and all these are her savings and she is not working and solely rely on my monthly $ to her ...

The best thing is to avoid lending money to others, especially when they are not your family members.

Since you already given out the money, then must be prepared not getting the money back.

The first thing is that you must let your mom knows that she cannot trust these people and will not lend them any more money in the future.

The second thing is to get a license debt collector and get them to collect on your behalf. However, this will cost you some money, so you have to decide worth or not.

Thirdly, make public these people's behaviour and tactic, so as to 1. put pressure on them to return the money and 2. prevent others from falling into victim like your mom.

my mum is saying she "learn her lesson" but this is not the 1st time already . First was by my auntie , she also kk dun wanna return my mum until after very long my mum told me then i forced her to return ... my mum is those "soft ear" kind .. i m thinking of not giving her soo much money for her to keep ... but she is an adult already and i scare not so nice ..
