Need advise on 2 - 2.5K computer

Hi guys, I need recommendation on building a 2 to 2.5k computer

This is my following usage.
I like to do design, programming and playing games at the same time. So don't really like to close application to free up memory for playing games

Intend to play games at the highest setting. my screen resolution is 1920 * 1080

I don't need any peripherals.

Just a last note, I prefer stability over performance. As in, the devices must not overclock and perhaps extra cooling module in the gfx card. My old com has lasted me over 6 years without breaking down.

Ooh, who is GS? Sorry not to familiar with famous ppl in Hardware clinic. Actually I intending to build it today but will it be cheaper to do it during PC show?

Btw, is gtx better than ati now? cos I kind of a ati person.

Amd now has better price/performance ratio but their card runs abit hotter and drivers might have some issues

If u preferred amd can consider Msi 290 gaming @ $645 or Sapphire 290 tri-x @ $600 (only 2 years warranty but one of the best non ref cooler on the market)

As for buying during pc show not much diff...unless u buying laptop will have more freebies ~

Might wan to SMS gs see he free today anot..or u can just go pctheme get the rig and ask them help u assemble (abit more pricey but better service + assembling)

I read the review for gtx780 twin frozr on some websites, it seems to be a beast. Maybe I try nvidia this time
