Hi all

am new to photography and is looking to get a digicam for travelling shoot and post purpose and if possible will like to learn more about photography and shoot some quality photos haha.

currently i am looking at Nikon 1 J5 seems to be an old model iirc it is going at around 600-700 (which is abit over my budget however still manageable).

Apart from Nikon 1 J5 im wondering if any senior can advise me on other model/brand i can consider and compare before committing?

Thank you!

If you are looking at Mirrorless. I don't think Nikon or Canon will make a good one currently for that budget.

Check out Olympus EP-L series or even Panasonic GH.

If you have more budget, go get Sony RX100 Mk 3 onwards :D

I'm not sure about J5, but i know Olympus have Beauty mode, and many scene that suitable for travel. Got Touch selfie.. Flip the screen, touch and smile!

I think it looks nicer compared to J5.
