Need advise on upgrading computer parts

Hi Guys i need advice to upgrade/replace my computer parts to play swordsman online/dota 2 in mid to high graphic setting without any lag the game of link below:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9400 @ 2.66GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.7GHz
Ram: Kingston 800hmz 8gb ram
GPU:ATI 4850 512MB

Hardisk WD black 640GB
PSU: 500W

gtx 750 ti and if you power supply is entry lvl one, is also time to get a new power supply. SSD is up to you but it will speed up your loading time, to maximise speed install windows and game on ssd so prepare to reactive windows. Or clone hdd to ssd if you know how.

I have never play swordsman online before. However, based on dota 2, your rig is still good enough to handle it on mid-high settings.

I suggest you get a Crucial MX100 256GB ssd. Install your os and you are good to go.

Your motherboard got PCI-E X16 slot and SATA ports, can support. What PSU are you using? Please state brand and model of your PSU.

Nope lga775 no sata 3 , forget ssd if u can't utilize full speed . How old is your psu ?got brand one?

Not really, TS can still get some benefits from a SSD even if he is not able to enjoy the full speed of a SSD.

Shld be ok to keep using if its still in good condition .Do note that Your monitor at most can display on close to 720p though....

Errrr......... that PSU is not exactly a good quality PSU due to poor voltage regulation and ripple, which can cause your components to spoil faster. Get a decent PSU like a Seasonic S12II 520W.

Get a GTX 660 from Lazada and a good quality 80+ Bronze PSU. You can get the SSD sometime in the future.

Graphic card only ,psu depends on the condition and age (ur aerocool brand seems crap though is it even modular?) .

Try to get a 2nd hand gtx 460 or something equivalent like HD5850 ,5830 ard ~ 50 bucks .
Save the rest of the money for future upgrades ba .

Aerocool is known for making relatively poor quality PSUs, better for TS to change his PSU.
