290 for me for now
Well, your rig is actually still fine. If you want to play these games at max settings, a GPU upgrade will do. Can wait for GPU benchmarks of the new FPS games to come out before getting a GPU upgrade in the future.battlefield hardline
wow
any other new FPS game??

1) How often does this happen?Oh issit?? But recently in having a few problem starting up my computer.. I try to on it but it on less than 1 sec it turn off already.. Anyone know how to rectify??
1) How often does this happen?
2) Does it go on-off-on-off or does it just shut down after switching on?
3) Got any spare parts or secondary rig with you?
Looks like boot loop to me.1) only started last sun after my computer went to sleep mode and I turn back on the computer start to on and off
2) it goes like on-off-on-off
3) I only have a spare graphic card only.![]()
Looks like boot loop to me.
1) Reseat all wire, PCI/PCI-E and RAM connections in your rig.
2) Go buy some thermal paste and some isopropyl alcohol, use isopropyl alcohol to wipe off old thermal paste and reapply thermal paste in case it is dry thermal paste causing CPU to overheat. Might also want to get rid of any dust in the casing, especially on the heatsink.
3) If all else fails, disassemble rig, remove mobo from the case and put mobo on non-electrical conductive surface. Setup a barebones rig consisting of CPU, mobo, CPU cooler and PSU and disconnect/remove everything else. Only connect the power switch pins on the mobo to the casing front panel. Switch on this barebones rig and see if got beep or not. If got beep, slowly add back the other parts one by one until the faulty part is discovered or the rig can switch on by itself.
If this barebones rig also got boot loop, bring CPU, mobo, CPU cooler and PSU to PC Care & Solutions, #02-32, SLS, and have Nigel test your parts and see what he says.
Can, why not?Can I just bring my whole PC down to The shop instead..?![]()
