Ok I changed my mobile plan today (30nov) within the same carrier (Singtel) to keep it hassle free.
My original plan has 2gb data
My new plan has 3gb data
My billing cycle is on the 9th.
To date, I have used 1.8gb from old plan (is left 200mb data).
I will have 3gb from the new plan starting from 9th(billing cycle on 9th)
The question is, how much data do I have from now until the 9th?
a) 200mb -ie new plan starts from 9th.
b) 3gb to use until 9th where the new cycle give me another 3gb.
c) 1gb until 9th (ie 1/3 of quota based on numbers of days left until next cycle is 1/3), and full 3gb from 9th onwards. Old bill I pay 2/3 bill and new bill 1/3 bill. If so, would the old quota be overshot since I have used 1.8gb out of 2gb which is over 2/3 of the old quota?
Anyone can help? I think this will be very helpful to me and others due to many people changing plans at this time. Thanks very much for any help.
