Building a rig, lost touch with IT stuffs, need some help here. Hope to DIY everything under 800-1k budget. Should i buy everything in TP or PCt? Or loose item in amazons or lazada? Or finding this pro fortran to build for me?

MB + CPU
Not going for OC, hence should i stick to 4160/4460 cpu and H81/H97 mb?

GPU
Possibility of light game. Not into high res, just minimum setting that can get those FPS game going will do. 750 or 960 series?

Storage
Getting Samsung Pro ssd 250gb for OS and programs/applications.

Toshiba or HGST 7200rpm 2 x 4tb for storage, will increase 1-2 more hdd in future. Or should i just get a 6tb hdd, wait till almost no more storage then buy another one? Going for 7200rpm because of the speed. Had WD green 4tb, thou it doesnt gives me any problem, but too slow liao. And red/black too ex, while blue only comes with 1tb 7200rpm.

RAM
Re using my corsair DDR3 2 x 4gb, still can support mah for 1150 socket?

Casing
Prefer black with good ventilation, can store up to 2 x ssd and 4 x hdd?

PSU
Anything recommended goes.

OS
Win 7 64bit or Win 8.1 if my primary is using excel, powerpoint and watching video?
Will be getting the product key from reddit. Please pardon my noob-ness, once i downloaded the *.iso from the seller, and receive the product key, how do i install ah?

Wireless capability
Wanted to get a mb with wireless card build in, but the price doesnt seems worth it. While Gigabyte h97n comes with wiirless, but its a mini itx. Based on my needs as mention above, can this mb supports all of it and i should change everything for mini itx instead? Or stick to the above and just get a wireless usb adapter?

Spares
Monitor, wireless kb and mouse, dvd drive(occasionally still use it), and a creative sound card.

Terima kasih!

Paiseh, i5 660 meant 6600 mah? Saw that the 6 series cpu is for the new 1151 socket. Pricing wise is around >100 then the 1150 cpu + mb bundle. Is this more for future proof recommendation mah?

Does 260x = Nvidia 750 or 950 series ah? Correct me if im wrong, Nvidia card is more recommended because of the electric consumption efficiency or cooler then amd card? Hence the price tag also slightly higher?

1TB Blue
1TB too little for me le. Going for 4TB x 2 :D

Value RAM best value for $
Re-using my DDR3 4gb x 2.

Cooler Master N200?

Superflower/FSP

Any card lower then 970 or 290, can say 500w is sufficient mah?

i meant i5 4660

you going for skylake ah?

i suggest you to stick with haswell, because the performance diff is not huge at all

skylake uses DDR4 memory you cannot re use.

everything is expensive here in SG, price wise, its up to amd and and nivida to decide.

IF u go for R9 290. i Suggest going for a higher wattage PSU
