hi guys, I am looking to get a simple gaming rig with a budget of $1400 without screen. I think i would like to have my OS on SSD, so a small SSD would do. Thanks in advance.

If the OS is not needed would that be any performance boost if the money of the OS is used on the other parts? Because my school proves free OS for their student.

Not much but an improved SSD Plextor M5P 128gb comes with 5 years warranty instead of 3 years for the M5S.

Get a dual channel gaming ram.

Other than that a better sturdy chassis.
