I"m planning to assemble a new pc but I"m new to it and I don"t know what parts to buy and where in Sim lim to buy them. My budget it $1600 incl monitor. Any recommendations(Play games like FC4, Dota, LoL on very high settings)

i went to SLS today and double check on price from pcthemes & fuwell.
Their price for
i5-4460 + msi b85m g43 is $415.
G.skill 8gb ddr3 is $115
Crucial m550 128gb ssd is $469

1) You got tell them that you want the B85M-G43 or not? $415 sounds like the price of a i5 4460 with the more expensive ATX sized MSI B85-G43 Gaming.

2) The $100 pricetag is for one 8GB stick of G.Skill ValueRAM, the ones without any heatspreaders.

3) Oi, who quoted that ridiculuous price for a Crucial M550 128GB SSD? Even the 512GB version of the M550 costs around $360-$390+ at most.

should be Zotac gtx970 ~ $448 given by Jian19 but their pricetag shows Zoctac gtx970 4GB lowest is 469.

Most likely "promo" price is over and it's 469 now, cans still try to get it below current price, if they dun give discount can try go tradepac ask and see wad price u might get with it

Nope leh... Last I tried to buy a nexus 5 dint see any reduction of price after keying in the number

Sadly, TradePac don't seem to carry the cheap Zotac card. Just tried to buy 1 from them yesterday.

PC theme is your next best bet. Try to see if can get discount. Do keep in mind that there is no free nvidia's pick your path bundle with Zotac's so if you are looking for the game, you can take a look at Palit's reference card which is at $479(don't make sense to me btw).

At the price point, just pay $30 more and go for MSI gtx 970 armor edition which comes with the bundle. Of course, if you can get the Zotac at $448, I'll say go for it instead.

No more. I didnt get any 10% discount when i did purchase on Lazada using mastercard today. I didnt even get my free $10 voucher. The download link for the app cannot be installed on my windows phone.
