So would u guys still tell me o go for blue or will green be ok?

Both blue and green come with 2 year warranty, so the manufacturer probably built them to be equally reliable. Go for red if you don't mind paying for the extra year of warranty.

Blue 1TB only. Been using green 2TB for years.

IMO green is good enough. You don't need the speed of blue, and I don't think blues are anymore reliable than greens.

Checked the it show pricing. WD red and WD green differs by abt $17 bucks for 2TB.

So most likely I'll go for WD red.

Green goes for $112 2TB.

Don't buy from shows, sls almost always cheaper for parts. Show prices are for the uninformed layman.
