Need Help! Date recovery from HD

Need help badly.

I have a samsung external hard disk. Apparently it's not working anymore. How do i recover my data. Anybody can help or recommend where to go?


I went sim lim and was quoted $800 and above.

Pls help me.

Professional data recovery is never cheap and it pays to back your data.

$800? That's about the price for data recovery if the disk heads are still working. It may be even more than double if there is hardware failure.

You have to decide if your data is worth the money and learn to back in future.

But what has happened to your drive. Not working? In what way it is not working--...got ticking sound?..can be identified by the bios, can see the drive in windows explorer? what's the size of your drive?
