Currently i am using this Fujitsu Lifebook LH700 that i bought on 2010 during poly, now i am heading to uni, i am looking for a laptop for just basic school use. I have saw 2 models in qoo10 which is quite cheap, but i am not really knowledgable on the specs, so i need the help of you guys!

The current specs of my laptop
http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/review/fujitsu_australia/lifebook_lh700/342723/specs/

Now i am looking at these 2 models from qoo10..
1st Asus x102ba (specs inside) : http://list.qoo10.sg/item/ASUS-ASUS-X102BA-ULTRAPORTABLE-TOUCHSCREEN/416326057?sellerview=on

2nd HP 14- ac042tu/ac030tu (specs inside) : http://list.qoo10.sg/item/HP-HP-14-AC042TU-14INCH-HD-DISPLAY/435885306

Are they a downgrade of my current laptop? Because they are so much cheaper. But if die die have to choose, considering the price, brand, build.. which one is more recommended? thanks!

The Asus is a refurbished set. Screen size is 10" only.

The HP is a very lowend laptop. Competitor to chrome books.

I'll rather you get lenovo ideapad 100, slightly better CPU , slimmer but no DVD ROM, and one seller selling at $299.

If ur not going to it course any laptops will do

Both are downgrade in terms of performance, about 30-50% of your Fujitsu.

Save up your money and get a laptop with a better 1080p screen

Refurbished means it's repaired until like new right? Or you don't recommend having 2nd hand laptop? What about Asus X551CA, i saw one selling at 369, is the specs better?

Lenovo recommended ? Slimmer but the weight is like the same as the HP haha

Yeah going for a business course, but with project work so i think i need a laptop.

Wth 30-50%?! I bought 5 years ago and the newer models are of lower specs haha, but i understand they are on a different level.

Was thinking about macbook air, but, i dont really turn on my laptop much because of iphone nowadays, so i dont think i need a so good performance laptop ><

You could consider waiting for the uni offers. Recall that they weren't too bad during my time @ local uni
