Thanks for ze input.

Yeah agree on that bodyfat setpoint. It's hard to keep going when weight loss seem to stall.

My diet is 2300 calories a day with at least 150p, 70f and the rest are carbs.

No cardio involved although will consider 20 mins slow jog once I hit 2100 or so cals a day.

Wow almost the same as me. I can tell you it takes years if we gonna keep this rate. Except mine is 2900 kcal of which 190g p, 50g f and ard 490g carbs. Im trying to gain more weight/muscle.
Doing cardio once twice a week. Now contemplating to get rid of love handles or get bigger first

Wah your protein is overkill. 1g/lb of bodyweight should be enough. Protein ain't as cheap as carbs man.

Bodybuilding is a marathon anyways so we can only keep setting goals and moving forward regardless of time frame no? If you're aiming to gain weight and still doing cardio, you should be eating a bit more.

I just got done with my bulk as you can see from my pic, I'm 10 weeks into my cut. During the slow bulk phase it can get into your mind especially when your usual pants get a little tight. But losing fat is way easier than gaining muscles so there's that!

A manlet standing at 169~170cm. Oh just keep doing what works well for you.

I have no idea tbh. I want to cut till about 70kg super slowly. Meaning for a while into next year. On and off ill take a diet break yo give my metabolism and mind a break.

lel watdafug. Are you the man in the mirror?

Cutting from 80 to 75kg to look aesthetic is not so ideal because we hold more fat than we think so. The ideal range is more like 85kg to 90kg cut to 75kg, at least for my case. After this cut I'm going to bulk with the similar goal you have now. But strength is also one of my goals and not just aesthetics.

Not to burst anyone's bubble but I think TS's body fat is more closer to 15% than 10%. Based on comparison to myself which is at 13-14%.

You can try to use this guide.

I would agree with you that my bf % is on the higher side as I can tell that I still have a substantial amount to lose. Appreciate your opinion.

Some help

Hey guys,

Can please help me to lower my body fat percentage?

I'm 1.78m and 76kg. Not sure what's my body fat percentage is.

I'm running about 26-30km per week and 3 alternate days of weights training (light going to moderate intensity).

I've always wanted to shed the extra fats around the waist and to add on some extra muscles. Think swimmer body more than body builders body.

Anyone can help me on how to plan my diet to head towards that direction. The protien, fibre and carbs percentage that you guys used are quite hard to gauge given that I don't really know most of the composition in details. Is it possible to perhaps use practical example? Eg breakfast eat how much whole meal bread and etc. etc.

Any other advices welcome.

Thanks in advance.
