Need help for 8d7n Itinerary

Hi! 4 of us (2 couples) will be visiting taiwan this nov for 8d7n
We are still in the planning stages

We will be reaching Taipei airport around 530am

Day 1
Check in taichung hotel
Explore taichung/ visit the rainbow village etc
Fengjie night market

Day 2
check out and head over to cingjing (is it better to hire driver?)
check in minsu
green green grassland
small swiss garden

Day 3
Check out and head over to hualien

day4

day 5 - 8
Explore taipei

We are kind of 'lost' on what to do on day 3 and 4
or is the itinerary look rushed?

At Hualien, u could visit Taroko George for day 3. Best to stay at minsu for a better experience. I had fun and good rest at taiwan local minsu.

From TC to CJ, try to find a taxi that is willing to drive you up to CJ. Along the way, tour around nantou to visit tourist place like Chocolate 81, buy some local fruits, eat some food, before going up CJ. Last time it costs me NT2000 for the whole taxi.

You can go Yilan after hualien. But prepare for mountain route along the way.
Must try to go to He Huan San if possible.
