Need help for new system

Help my family built one PC, bought everything from taobao, except old PSU which is my old but working acbel 510w PSU 5 years + already.. working on my lga 775 but didn't work on lga 1151 motherboard.. here's the problem..

Problem 1 : old PSU on lga 775 work, everything spinning got lights etc.. but no boot screen keep no signal.. so i give up on continue upgrading le

Problem 2 : old PSU on gigabyte b150m ds3h ddr4, with 1x8gb ADATA 2133mhz ram and my old gtx 660 GPU, only GPU have LED light when plug in power cable from PSU, but press chassis power button nothing happen.. no LED on chassis, tried all basic troubleshooting like short PWR SW, remove battery or clear CMOS pin, change ram slot, PSU+motherboard+CPU fan only also cannot..

Question : does old PSU affect on new motherboard like not enough juice to power up? So that's why my new motherboard not enough power to power up PC ? Need buy " haswell " compatible PSU to work on skylake? Or no such thing at all, but any PSU can power up? Budget can go for seasonic m12ii 520w de price range, since I'm not going upgrade anymore..

May i know what's the model of this PSU?
And maybe u can try paper clip test to test the PSU to see if the fans on the PSU is running or not.

Acbel 510w the black one with blue lights, my 20+4 pin like no have green wire no dare go do paper clip lol.. but then PSU fan spin on lga 775 but not lga 1151

Oh okay but did u plug in the CPU 8 pins as well on the top left hand corner of the mobo?

well i did some search and come out some weird design maybe u might want to take a screenshot of where u plug your power cable to?

Everything plug liao.. anyway I give to PC shop guy check .. he say about 2 days then call me.. so when I go collect that time then come back tell you all.. thanks for posting zreo

ok one 1 last qns did u put those stand off screen b4 installing your mobo?

Ya I did, atx standoff .. so I'm back for update ..

Updates : the shop guy help me change PSU cougar 550w 80+ silver *haswell compatibility* now everything got lights can see boot screen le.. But I still have one problem.. hdd spoil but at least everything worked now.. thanks everyone who read and zreo for replies
