Need help for online scam please!

Hello guys, I need help as my whole family saving have been scam away. Basically I though that it’s a legit genting highland entertainment web to bet and play. So I did ibanking transfer to their Singapore bank account (UOB, OCBC). Afterwards they freeze my account and asked for deposit to to unfreeze and get my $ back.

At this point of time I am lost and I don’t know what to do.

What i have already done is: make a police report.
Report to the bank that I make transfer from and reported to ocbc and uob.

And one out there have a solution or idea to help?

I am trying to seek alternative help. As the IO police told me she is busy she can only attend to me on Friday.

They trusted me and bank transfer me.

Send fund to a local bank and they will add the value to my account on the website.

Withdraw will be send a request and it will bank transfer back to my bank.

At this point, you can do nothing but wait.

First off, it's illegal to participate in online gambling under the REMOTE GAMBLING ACT 2014, you're lucky that you're not being fined for it.

Secondly, as much as I feel for you, you shouldn't get your hopes up about getting your money back. In most online scams like this, the money is long gone, wired out of Singapore, away from the reaches of our local authorities and banks.

Just treat it as a painful lesson.

Unlawful remote gambling
8.—(1) An individual who, in Singapore, gambles —
(a) using remote communication; and
(b) using a remote gambling service that is not provided by —
(i) an exempt operator; or
(ii) a person otherwise exempt under section 40 from section 10 or 11,
shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
(2) For the purposes of subsection (1), it does not matter —
(a) whether the gambling —
(i) is by the individual alone or together with any other individual or person; or
(ii) is directly by the individual or indirectly through any other individual or person; and
(b) whether the gambling is done partly inside and partly outside Singapore provided that that gambling, if done wholly in Singapore, would constitute an offence under subsection (1).
(3) An offence under subsection (1) is an arrestable offence.

Hope TS and family CPF are sizeable.

there is no such thing as guaranteed winnings from gambling.
the closest you can get to is probably our CPF, of course the close your age to retirement, the more true this is for you.
