Hi all I'm currently looking to see if I can upgrade to improve my PC performance, currently my usage will be low and my pc has been around for more than 5 years:

Mobo: Biostar Th67XE
cpu: i5-2400
GPU: Palit 750ti
Ram: 2x4 Kingston DDR3 Valuram
PSU:FSP Aurum 80+ gold 500w
Hardisk: Samsung 850 EVO, Samsung spinpoint 1TB, WD 2TB
Case: Coolermaster 310

I'm looking to upgrade to a 1070 in the future which means upgrading my cpu, mobo and ram as well, as for RAM most likely I would be looking at the DDR4 8GB valuram which is quite cheap when I upgrade.

Any recommendations for my mobo and CPU(best value for money, preferably between 400-500)? I would love to be using an ATX mobo because of my casing and also because I need the SATA slots for my hard disks.

THanks so much in advance!!

I'm using the coolermaster 310! quite an old case but i think theres alot of space inside

ok la i still think that small gap should be fine. just that taking out needs to be a bit careful.

anyway ur case max length : 10.8"
1070 max length : 10.5"
other 1070 will be depends on which brands u buying. :s8:

well u dun need to upgrade as the performances is not that much differences. unless u required some extra features like m.2, usb 3.1 or typce C, etc.

would there be a cpu bottleneck if i upgrade to the 1070? because my current cpu is still 2nd gen i5, intending to run games on 1920x1200
