need help getting new rig(budget ard $1100)

hi,

My 3 yrs old rig is failing me. I suspect is ram problem but i too noob to be sure, it just keeps on giving me memory problem. As such, its time for me to get a new one. I play alot of steam games and spend hell lot of time online. My budget is ard $1200 which hopefully can last me a few yrs for the next one.

My monitor is Samsung S24D390HL just bought a few months back. My current tower case is Cougar Evolution and its still in very good condition. 3 fans and dvd player are working fine too. Current internet plan is 1gbs gamer plan fiber optics.

wanna know wat kind of gear i can get with tat budget and probably engage services that help ppl to assemble at buyer's home.

Thx u in advance

1) Download and run BlueScreenView to see which system processes are causing the BSOD.

2) Download and run Memtest 86+ to check your RAMs.

3) List down the specs of your old system here.

thx for the reply, earlier com ran a memory diagnosis before startup and corrupted my profile and pc went into temporary profile. Managed to fixed it but now the entire com just freeze, unable to dl or launch anything except opening up window. Opening any application takes more than 1min n sometimes not working at all.

Tis problem happened for a few times and i got some temporary fix by running spybot n related software. However, the situation is getting worst.

Right now it takes more than 20 mins to startup and shutdown com. Will try run those application and post it here, if i could..

My spec is as follows,

Nvidia geforce gtx 560
gigabyte B75M-D3V
Corsair DDR3 4gbx2
Intel core i5
Hitachi 1tb

I opened the crystaldiskinfo, it says my pc health condition was caution, i randomly adjusted the bar and now it says its in good condition..

not quite sure how the bluescreenview works as it says no crashes and it seemed i need to burn memtest into disk to use it...

1) There should be one version of Memtest 86+ that allows you to use a thumbdrive instead of a CD.

2) Download and run HD Tune and use it to scan your HDD for any bad sectors.

I did a window memory diagnostic test, it says it detected hardware problem.

It takes forever to transfer any file to another location, everything slowed down tremendously.

Is there any reliable shop I can visit to do the fix and I would like to do some upgrading as well.

tried to do memtest via usb but the test not loading. I tried to access safe mode but nothing is loading as well.

Tired to reinstall win7 but everything just stuck at loading page. I have waited for at least 30min for each test to load but none is loading.

Cant even access my os now :(

as per the title, i would like to do some upgrading too, any recommended gear for me? thx

Judging by what's happening to your rig, I suspect that your HDD is really failing as you are suffering from very long loading times, a common symptom of a failing HDD.

If possible, try to transfer anything important from your HDD to an external drive.

If you want, bring your rig to PC Care & Solutions, #02-32, Sim Lim Square and have Nigel to confirm your rig troubles.

Suggested upgrade parts (Not sure of your budget though):

GPU: Zotac GTX 970 4GB Twin Fan (509)/ Sapphire/Powercolor R9 280 (285)
SSD: Crucial MX100 256GB (160)/ Plextor M6S 128GB (99)
HDD: Toshiba 1TB 7200RPM (69)
PSU: Superflower HX 600M (109)
