Hi all,

Com crashed. Tried restoring but it's constantly hanging. Finally restored windows, but com still hangs. Sometimes while booting up, sometimes when it's already in windows.

How can I determine which is the hardware that's actually failing?

Thank for your advices

Well everything just freezes there, doesn't read anything, what else did I miss out? I have no idea what bsod is, so if you'll excuse me, I'm no pro at com stuff.

I was thinking possibly ram, but don't wanna go buy ram only to find out it isn't the ram. So I was hoping I'd get some help here , if there's any process I can do top find out where the failure is before I replace anything

2 things to try out:
1. run memtest86 to test out your ram
2. run HDTune Error Scan (uncheck quick scan) to check if HDD got bad sectors.

Thanks jtjt for your reply.

Thing is my windows usually freezes up before I can do anything, but will try that and see if it works.

Disconnect HDD and boot into BIOS, try to see if it hangs?

CPU fan error!

That's all it states

Open up the side panel and see if CPU fan rotates when power on. If not, check if the fan cable is firmly connected to motherboard cpu fan header.

It's rotating. Bio's error is that fan is running slow. Goggled this issue and have brought down the trashold in bios from 600-300

Oh. How can I check temps?

Yes fan is running but not up to rpm, which was set to 600, have changed to 300 now

Ok. Just checked there's no window function to check temps. I'll use a temp gun on the heatsink. Thankfully I've 1 lying around

Thing is I don't have access to Internet cause I can't load in my drivers. System hangs everytime I try to loaf something in. Lol
