I currently got a budget of 1.5k and need advise in it
Need to use it for Photoshop and 3ds max..
I know the budget is abit low, but what is the best build I can get ? Btw, Not going to overclock.
Currently looking at:
ASrock H97 Pro4
I5-4690
Gigabyte Gtx 960 2Gb WF
WD Blue 1T
Cosair Spec 2
Cosair cx500
16gb Ram
Windows 8.1
DVDRW OEM
Monitor.
Is this the best I can go ?

Suggest you purchase your GPU on Lazada. There's a GSS sale coming up very soon. Maybe can get a 970 instead.
Heard from the bros here DDR3 prices are quite low now on Amazon as well. In my case I only purchased my CPU, HDD & motherboard from Sim Lim. The rest online. Spent close to 1.5k as well. Without monitor though.

Edit: Not too sure about this but maybe you should get an i7 instead due to hyper treading which suits your needs.

Yuppp :s13: Both from Lazada though. I only purchased my rams, SSD and cpu cooler from Amazon. Free shipping for the casing is awesome possum. :s8: Bought both when there was an 18% discount code. Sadly expired already.

Nice! Shall keep a lookout for such offers.

Are you gaming? If not the best specs for 1.5k for photoshop will be as per follows.

MSI B85M G43 ECO with Intel LAN + i5--4690 ~ $344
Crucial 8gb 1600mhz Value Ram x 4 ~ $312
WD Blue 1tb ~ $70
LiteON S900 256gb ~ $138
Powercolor r7 260x 2gb Turbo Duo ~ $165
FSP hexa 450w 80+ PSU ~ $55
Coolermaster Elite 361 ~ $56
LG DVD Drive ~ $21
Windows 8.1 OEM ~ $120
Dell P2314 23inch eIPS Panel ~ $249 (Get a good one for yourself)

Total ~ $1530. Buy at tradepac. DIY

You need more RAMS for your photoshop needs. You wont need an i7 as it wont render any much faster. Also add in a SSD for you. Next is the use of GPU, if you aint gaming you can settle for the r7 260x. It will suffice and wont bring any performance difference if you pay more for a higher end GPU.

Drop the pro series for ram and channel the money for a better psu.

Lazafa have superflower leadex gold 550w at $139. Use BIG20 coupon to get at $109.
