Need help in choosing GPU

Hi guys, I recently started playing TERA Online and GTA V on my pc and my GPU fan seems to be running at 100% and its super loud + scary.

My specs are i5-3470, 8GB RAM, GTX 550Ti.

Can you guys recommend me a new GPU thats max $250 that fits my pc? Thanks!

$250 is quite thin. Depends on what settings and reso you want to play on GTA V cos that's quite a resource hogger.

Just for your info. R9 270 can play gtaV at very high settings at 1080p no problem. Just off all AA will do. Feels silky smooth. Use latest amd 15.4 beta driver. Game is very well optimize.

GTX960 is only worth it if the price is below $300.

ppl normally go for refunds for amazon products. tats better than warranty actually.
