Need help in hotel booking..

hi all.. im facing some selection problems for hotels in taipei.. will be there about 4d3n.. and have narrowed down to the following options:-


1) SATO Castle Motel / WeGo Boutique
- after 10pm any street food etc?
- accessibility to places like shilin..ximending..etc.. from jiannan station to places like TMS will be long time?

2) Ximen area hotels (eg amba hotel etc)
- after 10pm any street food etc shopping?

3) Grandee Hotel (shilin area)
- accessibility problems any?

because of time tightness (only 4d3n ) therefore, hope to have good accessibility + good hotel interior / concepts designs...

SATO / WeGo seems the best choice but i wonder about the accessibility..

any bros been to these hotels can advise? thanks..

budget appx 150-200 per night

Gd accessibility and centralise location is always around TMS.Like cityinn i/ii/iii, justsleep around tms. ecfa, qstay, cityinn plus around XMD.

Sato is nice judging from my frens album but it doesnt fit into the idea of being in a convenient location.

Shilin go one night enough already..

Shops at XMD area will start closing after 11pm..

Jiantan station would be about 20mins journey to TMS..

Been to taipei and book hotel near MRT.
Booking by phone call and fax.

just a note amba hotel is actually not that close to ximen station. 8min walk.
if you want a real near one you can consider cityinn ximending or justsleep... a couple of others right by the station too.

TMS is the best IMO, if you're planning to go around and out of taipei. If you're just staying around taipei then any hotel near the train station is alright...
