Need help. SSD is plucked in, tried different port. Have yet to try different SATA cable but i dont have extra. What are the chances the ssd is spoilt instead of the SATA cable going wrong?

Bought from Amazon. Kingston v300now 120GB SSD
Any idea how to RMA? can i do it locally if possible??

What is the problem? Did you set boot priority in BIOS?

And, no, you cant RMA locally. Not possible 100%.

You forgot to go disk management and format that partition.

What motherboard are you using?

Your manage... is referring to disk management?

Got enable/disable SMART in bios?

Still not sure why. Bios can detect, thank god. But it's not under disk management. Just weird.

Guys, read. He already said multiple times its not appearing under disk management.

What motherboard are u using? Sounds like the sandforce controller is not talking to the sata controller properly.

errm..... if you need it immediately, the only place I can think is simlim square accessory shops.

But I usually buy these online. Does take quite awhile to arrive like 2-3 weeks.

If you going to buy online, get a good one like a 2.5"-3.5" docking station w/ usb 3.0

can use for future use.
