Hi pros

I have been mia for pretty long and kinda lost touch.

May I know do you have any good recommendations on a good 1TB SSD with affordable pricing level

And currently I am using i7 3770k if not wrong and my mobo started to have bios issue where it gets stucked frequently

May I know if I were to stay with Intel, which mobo and cpu combo should I go for?

Need at least i7 due to some multi tasking needed for my business.

Thanks in advance

I moved from a 3770k to A AMD 2700x last year. It was totally an upgrade at price less than the original 3770k.

Currently new Ryzen was just launched and 3600 and 3700x should suit you fine. SSD wise I have stuck to Samsung SSDs. I have a Samsung 860 Evo 1tb and 970 Evo NVME Samsung 500Gb as a boot drive. Mother board is a Asus ROG Crosshair Hero VII but you dont need it as its overkill if you don't overclock IMO.

If you are doing multitasking, then you shouldn't look at Intel right now

Thanks mates for all the awesome replies

Seems like AMD is highly recommended.

I had stopped using AMD after 955 series era due to pin issue

Are the newer ones fine ?

Thank you so much mate.

Guess it's worth a try and jump back to green camp haha

BTW can the 570x mobo use 3770k ram?

I think seems like no issue

And is there a good casing as I am still using a lian li 70b or something like that

A full tower with a door in front.

Or should I just use it since it is still working fine just about 10 yrs plus old

yea also one more thing.. nowadays the value of board is in the vrm..

If u getting a b450, msi tomahawk max is a good choice. for x570 it's gigabyte auros elite. Both offer good value.

I've seen many people that upgrade did not put consideration on this factor... so might as well let you know..

For ram u can consider 3200 c14 or 3600 c16.. both provide good performance along with use of ryzen 3000. if u find local ram too expensive consider newegg or other international shipping market.

Awesome!
Thanks alot mate for your sharing.

Yeah am more inclined to auros x570 elite even though the review at tomshardware is low due to no USB c and debug led which I believe is not an issue.

And locally Pro version have WiFi which I don't use since am using Asus ac88. Hence kinda wasted.

Thanks for the heads up!

As for ram I might consider gskill series but have not really check it out. Should be trident neo or something like that if not wrong
