Need help locating computer problem

For awhile now my I can see my GTX 670 GPU is definitely not doing what it's supposed to do. I compare my computer running similar scenario's to some youtube video examples and my game performance is lagging behind. It got so frustrating that I switched to my older GPU, Radeon HD6850, only to find that it was doing almost just as well as my "broken" 670. I've sent it in for repair once and they replaced it. I believe the GTX 670 is in good working condition. So I tried different nvidia driver versions but it's still no use. I'm not a computer expert and I can't exactly google the issue because it's so vague. Really hope someone here understands and can help me. Thanks in advance.

Go download Asus GPU Tweak or MSI Afterburner, tell us your clock speed, play a game and tell us your gpu usage, temperatures etc.

What games are you playing? Can you give us the framerates that you're getting?

I think test of games is more realistic. 600 series cards throttle when temps reach a certain limit because of bullcrap GPU Boost.

Ran it on my rig. TS let you compare. Your score should roughly be half of mine (assuming 1080p).

i7-2600 @ 4.0
2x GTX 680 @ 1228/1877

I ran the FFXIV test on maximum with 1080p resolution and my score is 7549.

Results on MSI afterburner

Power (%) - Average 80
GPU temperate - 75 degree celcius
GPU usage (%) - Averages at 60 but it jumps a lot.

That's really low.
Try again with your old 6850.

I have no idea why it's doing okay on certain games. However the game I play most, Battlefield 3 suffers the most from this problem. I get at least 20FPS below the average standard in that game even on Low and Medium settings.

Tested again with RAD 6850. My com scored 5411.

On MSI afterburner. Temperature around 73 degree celsius.

GPU Usage on average is almost a 100%

Yes. I knew it. I thought it was just in my head. Because I couldn't explain it properly to the asshole at the service center counter. He just kept pushing me away saying theres nothing wrong. Now I know for sure something is wrong but what could the problem be!

My computer with these parts are nearly 2 years old. My friend actually suggested I slowly upgrade the computer piece by piece. If I really can't find and solve the issue soon I guess I have no choice.

1. Try 314.22 drivers. For me personally any drivers above 314.22 throttles my GPUs by as much as 200 MHz. Uninstall current drivers and install 314.22 and run the benchmark again.

2. 4GB RAM should be enough theoretically, but have you consider upgrading it to 8GB? The rest of the specs looked fine to me.

I will benchmark test again after reinstalling drivers. As for Ram. I think I made a typo. I have 16GB ram. My bad.

My clock is 4.0 GHz
Your clock is 3.8 GHz?

Anyway we got almost the same CPU, and I don't think my CPU has affected my benchmark score.

run a synthetic benchmark, like 3DMark, 3DMark actually tells you how much on average you should be getting with your current hardware configuration. It's not 100% accurate but it's useful as a ballpark figure.
