Need help: Media Box / TV

Hi guys, newbie in TV here. I need recommendation for a TV in my room. Basically it's in my master bedroom, where my PC are also situated. Below are some of the preferences:

1) 36" still have nowadays ? If not 40" also can. My monitor already 27" , a 32" tv will look abit small lol.

2) LED , most importantly is thin bezel and flat.

3) Wall mount inclusive if possible, or else it's okay I can buy outside.

4) NO need smart tv / NO need 3D / NO need curve / NO need 4K reso. Maybe 1080p will do (is 1080p a common reso for tv nowadays?)

Basically it's gonna be wall mounted, simple tv for watching casually. Budget wise, as lowest as possible. (Is $400 bucks a norm now?)
Branding wise, need advice from you guys because I really have no idea about TV.

If possible, can recommend a TV box for watching more channels? If not convenient pls pm me for the tv box.
Btw nowadays I heard a lot about the android box. Izzit required?

400+ just about to get u a decent 32" from Samsung/Sony/LG.... Prob a 500 budget will get u a low end from Samsung...

As for media box, plenty of brands now. Walk ard SLS and u will see plenty of them. Every box is uite similar. Basic channels are offered. As for additional, u just have to check w them. I have a Red Bean which is more than sufficient w all e new US drama and HK drama..
