Need help on building a new gaming rig~

Hello everyone. I'm new here and I want to build my own rig (assembling it by myself). Currrently I'm looking at :

CPU: i5-3570k
MOBO: Asrock B75M-DGS
GPU : GTX660TI/ HD7950
Ram: 8GB
PSU: Seasonic M12II-520W 80+
SSD: Plextor 128GB
HDD: WD 1TB Black
OS: Windows 7
Casing: Wants a cool and good thermal control case. something like phamton 410
Monitor: A good 24"/27" gaming monitor ( $250- $350 )

Hoping my rig to be future proof, at least for 3 years.
Needing it to play any games coming out in the future which require high fps.
Games such as Crysis 3, CS:GO etc
Have a budget of 1.5k for everything excluding monitor
Need recommendation for casing and monitor.

If you don't intend to overclock, you don't need to go for K cpu.

Able to play most games at high settings smoothly with decent FPS. Comes with free game bundles, Crysis 3 and Bioshock Infinite.
Case: NZXT Phantom 410 @ $154
PSU: FSP Platinum 550W @ $125
OS: Windows 7 64bit Home OEM @ $110
Monitor: Dell U2312HM @ $250
Affordable IPS panel that offers better color saturation and has wider viewing angle.

Total: $1515
Buy and build at Tradepac.

Some things to take note when dealing with Tradepac:

• Be firm with your decision when buying from Tradepac. Don't be swayed by their sales assistant to upgrade and buy more expensive components which you don't require.
• Check all the components you plan to purchase are correct before you make payment.
• Stay at the shop and supervise them as they assemble your rig and make sure they return all spare chassis parts. You might want to take note that Tradepac cable management skills may not be up to your satisfactory level.

I would like to ask if there is a need for an extra CPU cooler and also the monitor, is there any other recommendations?
I don't mind going up to $350 for a good monitor, at least 24" if can, 27" would be better.

Another thing to take note, I would like to assemble the parts by myself if it's possible

Edit: Will the price be stable after a month? That's only when I have enough money to buy all the parts.

I've seen some CM casing, they are not bad.
Monitor wise, don't really have any particular brand that I want.
I'm looking at viewsonic 27-Inch IPS LED Monitor ,BenQ XL2720T
and AOC 27" too.
Not sure which to get.

Any insights?

If I'm not wrong, Haswell will be releasing in June.

No need for an after market CPU cooler as you don't intend to overclock. Intel CPU stock cooler can do a decent job.

At $350, you can go for Dell U2412M @ $329.

If you want 27", can get AOC i2757fh @ $399.

Haswell is the upcoming new generation intel CPU chip. Since you are not too good with computer stuff, you should go do some research on the hardware I've recommended. It's always to good have some basic knowledge and prepare yourself before going down to SLS.

As for monitor, I think you can get better deal in SLS by paying in cash.

For gpu, i find that Amazon and newegg prices are actually quite cheap. However, it will be troublesome to rma it in the future as you have to send it back to the States or somewhere else. Whereas if you buy it in Singapore, you only need to bring it over to local distro and let them handle your rma procedure.

Yea, I know about, that's why I'm buying GPU local but maybe monitor online?

I guess monitor doesn't always need RMA right?
Even if it's needed, I still save quite alot compared to local price.

Most likely buying all my computer parts local while case and monitor online?
Does that sounds good?

Also, will the AMD bundle finish very soon?
I might plan to get the GPU first if the bundle is going to be OOS.
The soonest I can get the gpu is by 2weeks from now.

One final question,
Will there be a promotion in SLS?
