Need Help on HUGE Lag!

Hi guys! Currently running 3 types of HDD

1) Samsung 840 EVO 250GB - OS Installed with drivers
2) Samsung 830 120GB - 2 Games Installed
3) WD 1TB - Just movies and music

Issue first encountered when I reformatted my computer, there was a huge delay and lag and Nigel from SLS, was kind enough to ask what kind of HDD I'm using and that it could be a dying WD 1TB that is causing such delay as it is not normal.

After installing windows, now when I boot up my computer, I'll actually see the Windows logo spinning for quite sometime then head over to a black screen with just the cursor, then the 'Please Wait' message appears before going into the desktop. Even at the desktop it'll take awhile to actually load the icons on the desktop completely. Before this when OS is installed in my SSD, I never actually get the chance to even see the spinning windows logo and just straight into desktop

I've tried a few optimization softwares like Samsung Magician, Perfect Disk, Advanced System Care to defrag and optimize but to no avail!

Please help! Or is replacing the 1TB HDD the only choice now? Already started backing information up

TS, remove items 2 & 3 and see if the lag goes away?
If so, add back the drive one by one and power up to see if lag?

Can I just plug out the SATA cable from the mobo board there? Or do I have to remove the power cable as well?
