Hi guys, can anyone help please? I intend to use it for playing videos, surfing internet, browsing photos only. No games. Budget 600-800. I have shortlisted some parts below. Prices are from Tradepac.

1. Asrock H81m-HDS R2.0 + i3 4150 - Tradepac $209
2. Crucial PC3-1600 DDR3 8Gb - $77 (I know 8Gb is overkill but I don't mind since ram is so cheap).
3. Plextor SSD 128Gb M6S - $98
4. WD green 2Tb - $107
5. Gfx card - GT730 2Gb or R7 240 1Gb
6. Casing - please recommend a nice compact casing
7. Power Supply - pls recommend
8. Windows 8.1 64 bit OEM - $120

I've included a gfx card so that I can play HD videos smoothly but please advise if GT730 or R7 240 are overkill.

Thanks.

CPU+MB: Intel Pentium G3240 + ASUS H81I-PLUS @ $169
Intel QuickSync provides enough acceleration power.
RAM: Crucial DDR3-1600 CL11 4GB @ $38
4GB is really enough.
SSD: Lite-On S900 128GB @ $83
A Plextor M6S clone by its parent company.
HDD: HGST Deskstar NAS 3TB @ $160* (Lazada Singapore)
Generally more reliable.
CASE+PSU: Thermaltake SD101 + Powerman IP-AD180-2 180W Flex ATX [80 Plus Bronze] @ $139 (PC Themes)
A mere 6.8 litres.
Sleek design.

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit [OEM] @ $115

Total: $704

Recommended:
OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit [OEM] @ TBA
Already around the corner so why not wait for a straight clean installation?

Optional:
RAM: Crucial DDR3-1600 CL11 4GB X2 @ $76
ODD: Samsung 24X CD/DVD Writer [OEM] @ $21

Buy others from Tradepac, #05-18.

*Price after Lazada 10% discount (Coupon TBA later)
