Need help on my first rig!

Hi guys!

Can anyone recommend me a build for my first custom rig? Have always been buying PC directly off stores and would like to build one myself this time round. I have a budget of about $1500-1800 to spare, wouldn't mind stretching the budget a little if need be. But would like to try to keep budget as low as possible. Monitor and kb/m will not be needed. And I would like to build a good gaming machine and maybe a little nice aesthetics will be good would prefer to have a msi mobo too!

Any advice/suggestions will be much appreciated! Thanks!

If you really want to keep your budget as low as possible, can lower then graphics to a r9 280x and the psu to a seasonic G650.

Throw in a LED strip of red and white from Sim Lim tower. Ask them to customize for you for the plus and minus to be used with a molex connector for pc. Approx ~ $12/m.

Will you guys recommend the cm storm quickfire ultimate or corsair k70? The price difference is around 30 odd dollars, is the price difference worth the k70?

If possible, can recommend a place where I can get them at the best price?
