Hello guys recently I bought the nzxt extension kit together with the aer and hue+. I successfully connected my aer fans to the hue controller. But my not led strips are not working. I saw from the NZXT site they say need to request for a controller cable. Anyone encounter this before?

Do you have this cable in the package?

I think you need the cable to connect the LED to the Hue+.

Maybe is software (CAM) issue? Can try uninstall and reinstall CAM. I copy and paste some of the troubleshooting steps from the link below. You see if it works.

http://support.camwebapp.com/forums/252256-cam-bugs/suggestions/32767582-led-strips-not-working

If you are using a HUE+ and CAM is detecting the HUE+ but the strips do not light up or is lighting up in abnormal colors.

Please be sure to check if all the strips are properly aligned. The arrow on the connection cable should be pointed to the +5V on the strip. If you are using any extension cables please check those as well.

The molex cable is what powers the light on the strips. Please be sure that the molex is properly connected. You can try using a different molex on your power supply to see if the port on the power supply is working correctly. If you would like a new molex cable please contact our support team over at https://www.nzxt.com/customer-support to look for replacement molex cable.

Please try each strip individually and see if any of them are defective. Exit out of CAM, then unplug all the strips from the HUE+. Then plug one strip into the HUE+, and start CAM. Check and see if the strip appears in CAM and the LEDs can be controlled. Repeat this for all the strips. If the strips are the issue, please contact our support team over at https://www.nzxt.com/customer-support to look for replacement strips. Please state how many strips you have that is defective.

Try using a different connection cable to connect the strips to the HUE+. The connection cable can sometimes cause issues. If the connection cable is the issue, please contact our support team over at https://www.nzxt.com/customer-support to look for replacement connection cable.
