Hi,

my PC is having some random reboot issue. Out of no where the screen will blank out and the pc starts to reboot. It may or may not succeed to go up to the users screen. if succeed, the moment i choose a user and it tries to go into the desktop screen, the screen will blank out again and go into reboot.

The cycle will repeat till it no longer start to boot at all.

if i power down, after a while, it works again. for example it was ok from sun nite till last, but this morning same thing happens.

i used the hw monitor and didn't seem anything was overheating.

pc is abt a yr old. psu is seasonic 550 or 600 semi-modular type, can't rem.

ok, so i finally managed to find time to do a ram test using memtest86. 4/4 pass all cleared.

now, when i play wow, it doesn't reboot. but when i play higher definition videos on vlc player and do a few skips only the pc reboot. no such issue with youtube. if left there doing nothing, seems it may also reboot itself after a long time.

checked the event log and just mentioned kernel power or something, basically unexpected shut down.

pc specs:
i5-4460
palit gtx750ti
seasonic s12g
2x4gb corsair ram kit
3x hdd

any idea whats failing? at my wits end. everything shd still be under warranty as only abt a yr old. but dunno wat is it that spoiled
