Hi bought some STI stock in vickers and now wanted to sell. But the stock already got transferred to my CDP account. If I sell in vickers, will it be considered short sale?

No. It will just take from CDP for the sale.

is it normal that I cannot see anything on DBS vickers? There is 0 holding

by right if you bought it with vickers, should have a record under the SGX holdings.

but it doesn’t matter also. Because the source of truth is still dependent on what’s in CDP.

you can buy with ocbc and have the stocks go into CDP.

but then sell with vickers and have no record in vickers at all.

so always check what’s in CDP to avoid short selling

Is the amount you are selling within your selling power?

If not need to share with dbs vickers your CDP statement to proof that you have the holdings available to sell them they will increase the limit

yes, you are right. I called them and they said the same thing.

most is they allow *2 of amount
