87 is rather high temp for aio. You got seat it properly? Try running cpu at stock speeds first

Hi bro
i think i have similar issue like yours
Whenever i play games, halfway through the games will just crash. Either I will see notification telling my amd driver is not respondin and recovered or worse scenario, the pc just restarted. I have checked my temperature and they are ok.
I suspect is my PSU problem. Unfortunately I don't have spare one to test.

yup all is fine.. all running check temperature using RealTemp 3.70

here it is just boot up give it run for 30 mins without touching it max was 45 degrees celcius.

after that play battlefront beta the maximum was 85 degrees celcius.

after that play bf4 no crashes happens but the max temp is still 85 so i guess it didnt push the temps at all when playing bf4.

play others games all that will normally crash saying amd driver fail. So far never crash so its a plus at least. but when run the OCCT it failed like how the mention b4 "value is 87 when max is 85 for core 3"

so i guess oc the cpu to 4Ghz generate too much heat?
need to tone down the speed?

well for my case is somewhat solved but still getting too high temps when running @ 100% load with an AIO.
well as shown in the OCCT.
run the Prime 95 and check with the temps at RealTemp also max temp was at 86. so i dunno what else to do.

So what you did to solve that is just downclock your cpu?

To answer ur question,
I didnt downclock my cpu i kept mine still at 4Ghz.

Well my issue was not the Psu but the CPU not cooling enough before i change from Noctua NH-U12P to H100i

My best result so far.

i switch all slots of the fans for intake (case is a HAF 932)
Except for the 2 exhaust in pull instead of push configuration at the top H100i radiator.

currently im getting 38 degrees celcius at idle
OCCT test for about 1 hour Highest temps still in the Core #3 84 degrees celcius.
So i didnt fail the test. currently still testing so dunno what happen so later update it.

 u know this is a gpu related issue like i said... changing the cpu cooler is NOT going to fix the problem. i said to check the gpu cooler and temperature NOT the cpu cooler and temperature...

well i did change up the termal paste for the gpu as it was along time as it using an aftermarket cooler to begin with and i got the temps to drop too.

From GPU-Z idle is at 44 and maxed out at 67.
so i dont see the problem on that side.
