i am using a 160gb for purely dl and storage and one more 1 tb as a side too
isit worth it to spend x 1 2tb hdd or better to worth to go higher like 4tb to long term dl and storage.
please help
It's a never ending dilemma if you start stressing your decision on $/tb. Buy what you think is within your budget.

That could be a 1tb drive. If you already running a 160gb until now, anything higher is already better.

I personally will avoid Seagate, even with better $/tb price based on 30+years of buying and using experience ( or lack of it due to failure within months even after RMA).

Nothing personal against Seagate maybe I'm damn unlucky for all these years with them. Others might disagree based on their experience or maybe they are lucky to NOT always get a lemon.
