Need help on Uncharted 1 .....

If i clear Hard mode in Uncharted 1 (PS4) will i be able to use the tweak in Crushing mode like unlimited ammo & stuffs ? Any expert can help thks

According to a trophy guide here, "There is a way to enable tweaks for one shot kill and infinite ammo during your crushing playthrough which will make beating the game significantly easier, it does however require you to beat hard mode first making the platinum require two playthroughs".

I only platinum'ed the PS3 version, which iirc didn't have such a thing as tweaks, didn't personally play the PS4 version so I can't confirm, but this sounds like how it works on Uncharted 4, so that's probably how it works on Uncharted 1 HD too.

I only platinum'ed the PS3 version, which iirc didn't have such a thing as tweaks, didn't personally play the PS4 version so I can't confirm, but this sounds like how it works on Uncharted 4, so that's probably how it works on Uncharted 1 HD too.

I think should be able to enable the tweak after clearing hard mode first though I'm not 100% sure because I clear all 3 Uncharted remasters in one playthrough on Crushing. It can be very frustrating but still doable.

The guide says 'cheat code' does not disable trophy. In UC4, it works in similar way too (except that the tweaks are unlocked after completing the game on any difficulty level whereas UC1 tweaks seem to only unlock after completing the game on hard difficulty). Once tweaks are unlocked in UC4, you can use them on another playthrough, trophies are not disabled. From what the trophy guide says, it should be the same in UC1.

On the PS3 UC1, crushing difficulty is only unlocked after completing the game once, so you have to do at least 2 playthroughs. iirc there's no tweaks, so the 2nd playthrough on crushing has to be done normally, which is quite doable. (I remember the most difficult part is actual near the beginning, at chapter 4 or so after the plane crash, and a location with knee-deep water and lots of pillars and enemies keep rushing in from all directions. After those set pieces, the rest are not too bad.) On the PS4 UC1, crushing difficulty is unlocked from the start, so you can actually just do 1 playthrough and plat it (I assume crushing without tweak should be the same as that on the PS3 version.)

Thks agn,now i am on crushing mode in a location with knee-deep water and lots of pillars and enemies keep rushing in from all directions,have been playing for almost 3hrs still haven't clear thats why i was thinking maybe play hard mode than use the tweak to clear crushing to get plat

Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No but you must beat the game to use them on the same difficulty

Under the details for "Charted! - Crushing" trophy, the guide mentions exploiting the tweaks. That seems to suggest you can use tweaks without affecting trophies (otherwise if you have to clear crushing before using tweaks on crushing, it kinda defeats the purpose).

Ya quite confusing, not sure the description saying "must be on the same difficulty" is correct or badly worded. I would suggest reading other posts on that thread or in that forum, maybe someone else had asked or clarified. (You should definitely read the collectibles thread there.)

btw, I remember reading that on the ps3 version there was an exploit/bug for that area, you can do something before dropping down that will make the encounter much easier. No idea if that was patched in the ps4 version. Or you can watch videos on how other people clear that area on crushing so that you have some idea when/where enemies will be popping up.

Yalo 2 speed run I was like 10s before the timer reach but luckily still manage to Plat, now going for UC2 liao,chiong ahhhhhhh
