Need help Osaka trip

I will go alone Osaka on this Sep. Normally 8day7night need to spent how much for this trip? Can a day go Kyoto, then go back Osaka at night... cause i lazy to moving my stay hostel...who can share me her opinion, thanks:>

yes, u can base in osaka and make day trips to kyoto coz it is only about 30min away by train.

lots of factors affecting the cost of a trip:
airfare: budget or full fledge? direct flight?
meals: bento from 7-11, ramen joints or restaurants?
accom: hostel, business hotel or proper hotel?
transport: travelling within city and nearby places, or long distance on bullet trains?
admission: wat attractions u visiting? USJ?

a simple estimate:
airfare: $600
accom in business hotel $100 x7: = $700
daily expense including transport, food, admission $100 x8: = $800
other big ticket item: USJ+expresspass: $200
total: $2300
