Hi,
New guy here in Singapore and feeling lost. Hope you guys can share some experience and comments on which is the better choice to make.
So I've graduated back in 2015 with almost 2 years of experience. Just get my job here in Singapore from 6 months back. Currently doing Sales for a freight forwarding company with a BA in (Logistics & Supply Chain).
After 2 years of switching roles within the supply chain functions, I've finally decided that I don't have the keen interest in dealing with stocks, spreadsheets, shipping and etc.
Taking off the $$$ from the job, I have the passion in Fitness, Sports & Sports Apparels, Entertainment Industry & Events. So I'm looking to jump into Marketing which open more doors to the industries I want.
Here are my options:
1. Take up a part time marketing degree with Kaplan or SIM
2. Take up a full time degree with SMU/NUS (If it's even possible)
3. Keep doing what I'm doing, get experience and apply for MBA for a career change
But here's the catch.
Option 1: I heard that Private Unis are not as welcomed as graduates from Local Unis
Option 2: I have to take up A Levels over again (Which I didn't, back in my home country)
Option 3: Doing things that I don't really like, just feeling like waiting for the time to pass until I have enough years of working experience to apply for a MBA, with hopes that I can make a career change into a field that I don't have any experience from (doesn't sound too convincing)
Please let me know what do you guys think! Any advice is much appreciated.
Really really f***ing lost now.
Cheers!
P.S. Is UniSim = SIM GE? What about SUSS????
