Hi all, need some help in building a gaming rig. Would like to have space to upgrade in the future to better GPU & liquid cooling so the case cannot be that small. The parts I've gathered are:
Mobo & CPU: either ASUS R.O.G MAXIMUS VI HERO or ASUS R.O.G MAXIMUS V EXTREME with i5-4690K (would it be better to get an i7?)
GPU: EVGA GTX 970 (would upgrade to 2 in the future with SLI)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB 2x8GB DDR3 2400MHz
HDD: WD 1Tb
SDD: Samsung SSD 250GB
PSU: No idea yet
Case: Would like to get the CM Cosmos or Stryker.
Do I have to put the drive in raid?
This rig would mostly be use for playing MMORPG and maybe some FPS game at the highest setting, should be able to last me at least 3years without having to upgrade too much. Hope you all would be able to share your experience with me.
