Need help : TFX PSU

hi , my CPU using Bestac TFX0250D5WB power supply.but recently when on the wall plug ,the green light on the back of the PSU is green dim light( CPU can't power up) after some time (1-2hr) when the dim green light became SOLID BRIGHT light ,then the cpu can power up.so isn't the PSU faulty ? now a day TFX hardly can't find ,can i use ATX PSU replacing TFX? please help .......THANKS

What's the case and mobo u using?
Anyway u can still try to source it in SLS or SLT for such PSU, but no grantee that its a good one. Next I still think that u can but u can't put it back to the case cos of the PSU design.

hi, thanks for the info.....so if changing the psu,do i need to take note of the power watt? (my psu max is 250watt indicate on the unit)changing the PSU , do i need bring down to sls? or can change by myself ( unplug and plug only right? anything i need to take note?)once thanks again

Buy from TB need to wait, urgent situation bring faulty unit to SLS and search for one. Price is likely higher.

Tried SLS, they quoted me $75 for a USED unit compared to $20 brand new from TB. Some Dell SFF are not using standard TFX PSU, the ATX20/24 pins connector are proprietary smaller type. Be cautious when you are looking for replacement in SLS.

7 to 10 days max from TB, i rather wait for the new unit rather than getting chop for a used unit at $75.
