Need help to identify problem

My com will undergo a extremely laggy period suddenly sometimes and it just won't stop until i restart it. It's worse when i am playing bf4 but gets slightly better though still jerking around when i close it.

I just got this new rig not too long ago so I'm just wondering if it might be virus or if there is a problem with the OS.
I'm not sure what happened but I'm sure it's not the Internet connection.

Gtx 760
Hdd 1tb
Ssd 120gb
Psu 520w
OS win7pro (not too clean if u know what i mean)

I think la theres a possibilty nt getting enough power from psu because thats what happen for my laptop suddenly very laggy and realised is my the power adapter thingy gt problem

laptop is different. cos got performance mode and battery saving mode.
when ur adapter had problems, i assume it wasnt charging ur battery. so the laptop would default back to power saving mode which impacts performance.

desktop sudden lagginess is usually a harddrive/ssd problem
to isolate the problem, best is to reformat os and run single drive first. if no problems, connect the other drive and see if problem resurfaces. then u can come to a conclusion alr

I dont have battery in my laptop fully ac powered one lol and its on performance mode once i on

Agreed, use HDTune to scan both SSD and HDD for bad sectors.
